POP Players Terms of Use
Effective 15 October 2026. These terms apply when you create an account or use POP Players.
1. The service
POP Players is operated by Phrased. It is an information and community companion for in-person poker clubs using the Poker Operations Platform. The app does not offer poker gameplay, accept wagers, process entry fees, or hold or transfer player funds.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use the service where you live. Provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Clubs and published information
Clubs are independent organisations. They control their events, venue operations, membership decisions, and the records they publish through POP. Schedules, waitlists, clocks, results, rankings, prize records, and other club information may change. Confirm important details directly with the relevant club before relying on them.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use POP Players for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harassing activity.
- Impersonate another person or provide false information to link to a club record.
- Attempt to bypass security, disrupt the service, scrape restricted data, or access another user's account.
- Upload content that infringes another person's rights or contains malicious code.
Public handles, profiles, and images must also comply with our Community Standards. You must explicitly accept the current standards before uploading a profile image. We may review, reject, remove, or restrict content and accounts to enforce those standards.
5. Your profile content
You keep ownership of profile content you upload to POP Players, including profile images, handles, and profile text. You give Phrased a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, provide, secure, and moderate POP Players.
This licence also allows Phrased to review, moderate, restrict, or remove your profile content where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms or our Community Standards, protect users or clubs, comply with law, or protect the service. The licence ends when the content is removed from the service, except to the limited extent that copies remain in routine backups or must be kept for legal, safety, or enforcement purposes.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of POP Players to keep the service secure, reliable, and compliant. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes.
7. Account suspension and deletion
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect users or clubs, comply with law, or protect the service. You may delete your account in the app or follow the instructions on our account-deletion page.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use POP Players.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Phrased is not responsible for a club's conduct, decisions, events, venue services, or independently held records. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do. Questions can be sent to ryan@phrased.com.au. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
